Angela Lea Guevara, 51, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Corpus Christi. Angela was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Ronnie L. Patrick and Patricia Patrick Ferguson. She grew up in Conyers, Georgia where she graduated from Rockdale County High School in 1991.

After graduation from high school, Angela moved to Kodiak, Alaska, where she continued her education at a satellite division of Texas A&M University. In 2012, Angela moved to Corpus Christi, where she completed her degree in forensic psychology at Texas A&M.

A passionate animal lover, Angela had a special affinity for both cats and dogs. She was a creative person and expressed that gift through her painting which brought her immense joy.

Angela was preceded by her father, Ronnie L. Patrick and her stepfather, Robert Houston Ferguson, and her husband Sergio Guevara. Survivors include her mother, Patricia Ferguson and her siblings; Robert (Bud) Houston Ferguson Jr., (Dana), Stacey Lewis-Osborne, (Rick), Shane Houston Ferguson, (Kellie), Shayla Eley (Jimmy) and Nick Crumly, who played a significant role in her life.

A memorial service to celebrate Angela's life will be planned at a later date in Smyrna, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Humane Society.

Angela will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
