Dale Edd Mock Jr., 65, of Corpus Christi, Texas, entered into the holy presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ, on October 28, 2026.
He was born on January 23, 1961 in Opelousas, Louisiana, to Dale Edd Mock Sr. and Mildred Irene Cannon Mock. Dale grew up with his sister, Trisha Mock, in De Quincy, Louisiana and graduated from Alice High School in 1979, where he played football and was involved in athletics. After moving to Portland, Texas, Dale met and married his spouse, Lisa A Mock on August 8, 1987.
Dale received his certification in HVAC from Del Mar Technical School in 1989. He was blessed to work for Roggeman Air Condition & Refrigeration in Portland, Texas, where he eventually maintained cooling systems at Flint Hills Refinery until his retirement in 2021.
In his spare time, Dale had a passion for hunting, fishing, basketball, football, gardening and raising chickens. He and his wife, Lisa, joined Annaville Baptist Church and his walk with the Lord was strengthened through the support and time given to him by Pastor Robert Simmons and his Sunday school class. Dale participated in the Journey to Damascus and attended meetings with his fellow pilgrims. Dale formed many treasured friendships in his life who gave him great joy, support and love.
Dale is survived by his wife, Lisa A Mock, and his two children Sarah Kristen Tuck (John) and Elizabeth Eden Mock, as well as his grandson, Max Tuck. He also leaves behind three sisters, Sharon Marie Mock-Meredith (Jim), Marsha Irene Mock and Trisha Dee-Ann Mock, along with many nieces and nephews. And seven chickens!
While he may be gone from this world, his memory lives on in the hearts of all who love him.
His Memorial Service will be held on November 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Annaville Baptist Church.
