Jon Michael Gates

Jon Gates, born October 26, 1978, in Houston, Texas, passed away on June 20, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 46.

Jon is survived by his parents Brenda and Keith Callis, brother Jason and birth father James Gates. He also leaves behind three children Jon, Janelle, and Sylas who will never get to know how much he deeply cared for them.

Throughout his life, Jon showed tremendous strength and resilience as he faced and endured private struggles. With the steadfast support of his mom Brenda and dad Keith, he was able to find moments of peace and comfort when it was needed most.

Jon leaves behind a large family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends that loved him and will miss him deeply.
