Mathis

Julie Buster passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, in Mathis, Texas. Born on February 10, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. Julie lived a life filled with love, adventures and a deep connection to the natural world.

Julie was the daughter of the late Hugh Breland and Frances Dobie Herron. She was predeceased by her husband, Crockett Buster, and her son Keeton Lawson (Courtney). Despite these losses, Julie's life was enriched by the love of her surviving family: Her son Hugh Lawson (d.Kim), her daughter Deanna Webb (Rex), and her bonus daughter Tammy Lockhart (Valarie). She is also survived by her sister Linda Falcon and many cherished grandchildren and one great grandchild who brought immense joy to her life.

Julie loved music and singing that touched your soul. She had an adventurous spirit and a profound appreciation for the outdoors. She found peace in nature, whether it was through camping trips with loved ones, sitting outside and watching wildlife or taking long walks to immerse herself in the beauty around her. Her creativity shone through in the beautiful flower arrangements she enjoyed making-each one a reflection of her artistic touch and love for vibrant blooms.

Her family will honor Julie's memory with a celebration of life in September 2026. Details will be shared closer to that time
