"With profound sadness and endless love, the family of Lisa Glass announces her passing on May 8, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on December 4, 1972, Lisa lived life exactly the way she wanted to — boldly, stubbornly, adventurously, and always with a little bit of fire. She loved anything that involved being near the water, whether it was soaking up the sun, listening to the waves, or simply feeling free with the wind around her. The water was her happy place, and anyone who knew her knew she belonged there.

Above all else, she loved her family fiercely. She leaves behind her children: Kristen, mother of Luna and Aria; Tyler, father of Avery; Lorryn, mother of Cordelia, Estella, and Aurélia; Dylan, father of Easton; Monique, mother of Jasper; and Kaisey. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved each of them deeply.

Lisa was a true spitfire — the kind of person who could make you laugh, challenge you, frustrate you, and make you feel loved all in the same conversation. She was strong-willed to the very end, and while that stubborn streak occasionally kept life interesting, it was also part of what made her so unforgettable. She lived unapologetically as herself, and no one could ever tell her otherwise.

Though this loss leaves an ache that words cannot fully capture, her family finds comfort knowing her story continues on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. In keeping with her love for the water and free spirit, her ashes will be spread in a place that reflects the peace and freedom she loved so much.

She may be gone from our sight, but somewhere beyond the waves, Lisa is finally at peace — forever our beautiful, wild-hearted mermaid."
