In Loving memory of Luis Saldivar Jr. III
Luis was born on January 18, 1971, in Taft, Texas, to Luis Saldivar II and Dora Diaz Saldivar. Although he spent part of his life in Farmington, New Mexico, he spent the majority of his years in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he built lasting relationships and touched countless lives.
Luis dedicated much of his career to sales, traveling throughout Texas and creating opportunities for family members and friends to earn an honest living. He was a natural mentor who generously shared his knowledge, teaching his children and loved ones not only the art of sales but also the value of hard work, perseverance, and determination.
Through every hardship and every blessing life brought his way, Luis continued to strengthen his faith. In some of his final moments, he spoke of being reunited with the Lord and with his beloved mother, who preceded him in death in December 2025. While his family finds comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of the Lord, his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him—especially his siblings, whom he helped raise and guide throughout their lives.
Luis is survived by his former wife, Jonell Henderson (Tony); his daughter, Jerica Saldivar (Shane Bejay), and their children, Joaquin and Kegan; his daughter, Pryscilla Trujillo (Julio), and their children, Mateo and Miliano; and his son, David Saldivar (Pette), and their children, Rome Rocket and Murphy Marie.
He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Lou Ochoa, Linda Andrade (Jeremy), Rey Molina (Cesar), and Michael Saldivar.
Luis was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Rojas Saldivar and Dora Diaz Garza.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Concho Hearts Hospice of Corpus Christi for the remarkable care and compassion shown to Luis during his final days. Special thanks are extended to Thomas, Meghann, and Iliana, whose kindness, dedication, and support made this difficult transition so much easier for the family.
Service arrangements will be announced soon.
The family sincerely thanks everyone for their prayers, love, support, and condolences during this difficult time. Luis's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
