Patricia Ann Penley

Patricia Ann Penley, aged 66, passed away on April 26, 2025. Pat was born in Goshen, Indiana on May 1, 1958. She met her future husband in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married Stephen Penley in 1976 and they were married for 48 years.

Patricia worked various positions before deciding to become a teacher. After graduating from Texas A&M, CC in 1995, she taught at West Oso Elementary and Junior High until retirement in 2020. Patricia was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2021.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Rosa Nissley, her father-in-law Percy Penley, and one granddaughter, Charli Ann Childers. Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Stephen Penley, her daughter, Roxanne (Scott) Childers, her granddaughter Pamela Childers, and her brother Vernon Nissley, as well as numerous other family members.

The family wishes to thank Villa South (Stepping Stones), Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline, and the Angel Bright Hospice facility.
